Out Of Order
Last updated: 25 October 2026
In short: Out Of Order does not collect, send or sell any personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the game saves stays on your headset.
This Privacy Policy explains how Out Of Order (the “game”), a virtual reality game for Meta Quest published by Kimo Games (“we”, “us”), handles information about you.
1. Data the game collects
We do not collect any personal data. The game has no user accounts, does not ask for your name, email or age, shows no advertising and contains no analytics or tracking tools. We have no servers that receive information from the game.
2. Data stored only on your headset
To work properly, the game stores a few files locally, in its own storage on your headset. They are never sent to us or to anyone else:
- Saved game: your progress in the story (current location, puzzles solved, items carried).
- Settings: your comfort, subtitle, volume and similar options.
- Technical log: a small text file (
diario.log, max. about 1 MB) with in-game events such as the date and time of each session, the device type, the game version, the scenes visited, frame rate and simple movement events inside the virtual building. It is used only to fix bugs, and only if you choose to copy it from your headset and send it to us. It contains no names, contacts, voice, images or location.
We use this information only to let you continue your game, keep your preferences and help solve technical problems.
3. Internet, microphone and sensors
- The game does not request internet access and does not communicate with any server of ours.
- The game does not use the microphone or the cameras, and does not record audio, video or images of your surroundings.
- Head and controller positions are used in real time to show the virtual world and your hands; they are not stored, except for the simple movement events mentioned in the technical log.
4. Meta Horizon platform
The game is sold and installed through the Meta Horizon Store. Meta handles your purchase, download and the verification that you own the game (entitlement check), as well as any system-level data your headset may collect. That processing is done by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy, available at meta.com/legal/privacy-policy. We only receive from Meta aggregated sales and usage statistics that do not identify you.
5. Sharing and selling of data
Since we do not collect personal data, we do not share, sell or rent it to anyone.
6. Children
The game is a horror experience intended for teens and adults (13+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
7. How to delete your data
All data is stored only on your headset, so you are in full control of it:
- Choose Nueva partida (New game) in the game menu to erase your progress.
- Uninstall the game to delete all of its files (saved game, settings and technical log) from your headset.
We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you have ever sent us a technical log by email, you can ask us to delete it using the contact below and we will do so free of charge.
8. Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change is released.
9. Contact
